Well, it's official. The marriage of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson-Parker is over. And of course, per the wishes of Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada, it is not taken out by death or divorce. No, the marriage was erased from existence by Mephisto AKA the Devil. But rather than be logical in the retcon, Quesada has chosen to make this new continuity really, really confusing. I'll probably go more in-depth with later posts. Because I assure you all, I WILL be discussing this later on. I'm this mad about it.
I guess you can call this a prologue for a long rant about Marvel & Quesada destroying a perfectly good marriage. There are tons of issues I have with this horrible comic event. Everybody, you have better prepare yourselves.
But for now, I shed a tear for you both, Peter & MJ. You two were amazing and your love eternal. Hopefully, you can find a way back to each other in the near future.
